Spiritual Freedom from Fear

As you walk the spiritual path, you will encounter many people. Some will inspire you, touching you deeply with their compassion, while others may seem bothersome and out of sync with their spiritual heart. You may find yourself praising those who seem spiritually adept while avoiding those who seem asleep at the wheel of life.

You achieve the goal of spiritual freedom from fear when you recognize the spiritual mastery in others, including people who annoy you. That sounds like a tall order, but there is a simple spiritual mastery key that all people hold whether they are aware of it or not--the one source of universal life.

The one source of universal life is the juice of creation that holds all wisdom, truth, and clarity to guide you and others through life. Your neighbors, friends, family, animals, plants, minerals, atoms--the very creational energy of the universe--represent the one source of universal life in many different and beautiful forms. When you can see the one source of universal life dwelling in others, you find that you have nothing to fear.

The one source of universal life is filled with passion, love unconditional, true compassion, endless acceptance, great strength, and deep hope. The one source of universal life (also known as the OSOUL, which some may call God) created this world based on a spectrum of light to dark, which allows for the exploration of a terrain of choices beyond the light of truth. OSOUL, in its purest form, is the light of love and truth. When you step beyond OSOUL's light, you step into a created terrain of choices in the absence of light. OSOUL is the light, but it has spun out a world based on a spectrum of light that contains the absence of light, the seeming absence of OSOUL.

The darkness represents a self-created world by OSOUL to discover how it behaves in the absence of itself. The darkness is OSOUL in absence, which allows for free will choice to occur.

When bad things happen to good people, where is God (or the one source of universal life)? The seeming absence of God leads many people to fear that we are alone, adrift in a frightening world of unfriendly strangers. The spectrum of light to dark hides OSOUL in some situations. It allows for human beings to make a free will choice using the light and truth of divine inspiration or to step into the darkness to make choices without divine guidance. The darkness does not embody the heart of OSOUL, which is love.

When you make choices in the absence of light, you are making choices in the absence of OSOUL, which means you are not pulling from the one source of universal life for inspiration. Without divine guidance, you can make decisions that are not based on love, honor, integrity, honesty, or compassion. Without truth or OSOUL, life is discordant and out of sync. When you see the one source of universal life in other people, you have found your strength--unity. You are OSOUL and others are OSOUL. OSOUL is unity.

What would OSOUL look like if OSOUL could step away from the truth of existence in OSOUL? This is what it looks like on Earth. All people making choices without truth are still a part of OSOUL. When you see others as exploring a world created by OSOUL, you realize that you have nothing to fear in the choices made in the darkness. Choices made without divine guidance are not operating under the full power of OSOUL. These self-created dark choices are made in absence of OSOUL, and cannot hold up when examined under the light of truth and love.

OSOUL Is Always Watching

I learned the power of OSOUL through what seemed like a simple choice to allow my son to sit alone at a restaurant counter while I ordered our dinner. My five-year-old son, Tristan, sat down at a counter seat by the window, which was lined with flowers and a candle. I gave him a pad of paper and a pen to draw with while I stood in line about eight feet away. I glanced over at him a few times while I was waiting and looking at the menu.

All of the sudden there was a commotion where Tristan was sitting. A father from another table was stomping out a napkin that was on fire. I walked over quickly and saw that he was also stamping out the now burning pad of paper I had given Tristan.

"He held it over the candle," the father said in response to my alarmed look.

Tristan stood by the man's wife, holding his fingers in fear. Checking his tiny hands for burns, I asked Tristan if he was okay.

"I didn't know that would happen," Tristan said in a small voice.

"Now you know," I said, rubbing his back. I felt that the experience itself was a good teacher, so I said no more. I profusely thanked the couple for acting so quickly. Tristan then came in line with me and we ordered dinner.

Later the couple's son, who looked about eight years old, walked over and patted Tristan on the back, saying, "Are you okay, buddy? Now you know not to play with fire."

I thanked the boy and told him that it was a good lesson. Later when I was driving home, I started to feel bad, knowing that I had not made a good choice in letting Tristan sit alone while I ordered. But while listening to my inner guidance, I felt that was not the lesson of the evening for me. My lesson was that even though I wasn't watching, OSOUL is always watching. When I thanked the couple for acting so quickly, I was thanking them for listening to the OSOUL in their hearts that moved them into quick action to save my son from further harm. When I thanked their son for sharing an important lesson with Tristan, I was thanking OSOUL for speaking through a powerful messenger in the form of a child. A child's message to another child was more powerful than anything I could have said in that moment. It was OSOUL speaking to OSOUL, patting his back and letting him know that it was okay to learn the lessons of life.

I will guide you to affirm your connection with the one source of universal life in I Am Spirit.

I realized that the OSOUL shone brightly through Jesus when he walked on Earth 2,000 years ago. Jesus saw the OSOUL in others, and miracles happen when you recognize the powerful energy of the one source of universal life. It's as if OSOUL sees itself and it's multiplied in a thousand rippling images, like a mirror showing the same reflection over and over again. The once hidden OSOUL becomes seen, and man becomes brother and woman becomes sister and humanity becomes one. That is the unity of the one source of universal life.

Prayer Activates OSOUL

How do you recognize the one source of universal life in others?

Prayer activates the OSOUL to become known, meaning its presence to become seen in a world where OSOUL is present but unseen by normal human consciousness. Miracles are God's response to humanity's prayers and pleas for intervention. In this world of free will choice, humanity must ask for help to return to the wisdom and knowledge of OSOUL. Miracles are nothing more than tangible acts of God that remind humanity of their deep connection with the one source of universal life. Prayer sets your intention to use the light of OSOUL to guide your choices. Simply say, God, guide me to seeing the one source of universal life in others. Accept the miracle by recognizing this spark of life, the light of OSOUL.

OSOUL has a deep yearning to bring elements of itself that are hiding in the darkness back into the life-giving force of its energy. You are OSOUL talking, laughing, and interacting with the OSOUL in others.

In knowing this, you are spiritually free from fear.
